Introduction

July 2026 has delivered a genuinely strong crop of running shoe discounts, spanning everything from aggressive race-day rockets to dependable daily trainers. Below are eight deals that stood out for the size of the saving and how well the shoe itself holds up. Retailers mentioned include sportsshoes.com and Start Fitness, and availability and sizing can change quickly, so it is worth checking before committing.

Asics Metaspeed Sky

Priced at 159 with limited sizes available from sportsshoes.com, the Metaspeed Sky is a mega-light race shoe and arguably the closest thing Asics offers to Adidas’ Pro Evo 2, at a much more affordable price. Asics calls it a pinnacle racer, and it is the most boundary-pushing shoe from the brand yet. That said, treat it as a race shoe out and out rather than a trainer: it is fairly unstable and not among the most durable options, so it is best reserved for race-pace work and race day itself. Currently the discount covers sizes 5 to 7 and 11.5 and 12, so you need to be quick.

Hoka Cielo X1 3.0

The Cielo X1 3.0 has changed quite a bit from the first version, and by all accounts the improvements are real. A sample size weighs in at 213 g, which makes it something of a super shoe for the common man. With 100 off the retail price and plenty of sizes in stock at sportsshoes.com, this new and improved version is tempting even if you skipped the earlier generations.

Mizuno Hyper Warper Elite

Mizuno’s most slept-on offering is already discounted to 140 from its 220 retail at Start Fitness, and with the code “new season 15” it drops to 118, which is frankly insane for a super-light, nimble racer. The shoe is super durable, runs a slightly lower stack, uses very responsive foam, and has a nice-fitting upper. The superb outsole, with its G3-style design, is reminiscent of track shoes of yesteryear. At 170 g for a sample size and roughly a 3.5 mm drop, it will not suit everyone, but if you want a shoe that stays out of the way of your gait, it works very well. Lots of sizes remain available.

Puma Velocity Nitro 4

At Start Fitness, a wide range of colors is discounted to 75 from the 110 retail, and the “new season 15” code brings it down to 64. For a shoe with a TPU midsole that is really bouncy with pleasant compression, that is exceptional value, especially if you are just getting started on your running journey. It is not mega-stacked, but you may not need that in a daily trainer anyway. Add nice outsole durability from Puma’s grip and a well-designed upper, and this is a top-level shoe for the price. One caveat: availability is largely online, so try-before-you-buy is rare, and it is worth grabbing a size while the deal lasts.

Puma Deviate Nitro Elite 4

More Start Fitness madness: the Deviate Nitro Elite 4 launched at 210 not all that long ago, and with the same code it is now 125, a daily-trainer price for a high-level racer. It is a very responsive, very light shoe, and firmer than the V3 if you preferred that generation, sitting closer to the V2 from a few years back. Grip on the outsole is great once again, the upper fits well, and serrated laces come stock for solid lockdown. Only the original launch colorways are discounted: a blue and yellow version plus a standard black and white option. Quite a remarkable discount on a recent release.

Adidas Takumi Sen 11

There is a full size run on the fluorescent marker colorway of the Takumi Sen 11 from Adidas at only 100. The Sen 11 is a more responsive shoe with a slightly lower stack, but there is still loads of cushioning; it is no bone shaker. Compared with the Sen 7 from a few years ago, there is simply no contest. It could work well for runners who want one shoe to race in and train in. The Lightstrike Pro and Light Traction combo makes for a very durable model, and the energy-rod-equipped shoe is great value. It suits lighter, more nimble runners and is perhaps a bit overlooked thanks to the popularity of the Adios Pro 4. Note that some cheaper colorways exist but with very sporadic sizing; the yellow version is included here mainly for availability.

Saucony Endorphin Elite 2

If you have not tried Saucony’s wildly compressive IncrediRun foam, the Endorphin Elite 2 is a big departure from the V1, which used a denser, very different foam. The V2 is extremely soft and very forgiving, making it a great shoe for longer runs, with the foam easy on the legs, a very light top-end upper, and a durable outsole you might not expect from such soft foam. Take care of the sidewalls: untie the shoes every time before putting them on rather than kicking them off. Very harsh heel strikers should probably look elsewhere. These sit around 159, and with marathon season later in the year, this could be an ideal model to get you through the distance.

Adidas Evo SL

Lastly, at sportsshoes.com there is a 78 deal with an almost full size run on the black version of the Evo SL from Adidas: core black and silver metallic, in the original version identifiable by the slightly lower lace loop section on the tongue. Not the best choice for high summer, but at 50 off the retail it is rarely seen at this price, and it might be worth stashing away for later in the year. Hard to beat if you want a nimble shoe for daily training that can double up for casual, lifestyle use as well.

Overall Buying Advice

If you need a pure race shoe, the Metaspeed Sky, Hyper Warper Elite, and Deviate Nitro Elite 4 all offer serious performance per pound right now. If you want maximum cushioning for longer efforts, the Endorphin Elite 2 and Cielo X1 3.0 make the most sense. For everyday value, the Velocity Nitro 4 at 64 and the Evo SL at 78 are arguably the best deals on the list. Always double-check sizing, as several of these discounts apply to limited size runs or specific colorways.

Conclusion

This is one of the better deal rounds in a while, with recent-release racers like the Deviate Nitro Elite 4 and Hyper Warper Elite discounted to daily-trainer prices, and dependable everyday shoes like the Velocity Nitro 4 available for well under the 80 mark. Check sizing and availability early, because deals like these rarely last long.
