Best Prime Day Sports Tech Deals: Watches, Wearables, Cycling GPS, Cameras and Drones
The strongest sports tech sale prices yet, spanning Apple, Garmin, Fitbit, Polar, Wahoo, DJI, Insta360, GoPro and Peloton.
Introduction
This is arguably the strongest sports tech sale we have tracked yet, and notably it is not built on leftover stock. Nearly every product on sale here is current-gen, from the Apple Watch Series 9 and Garmin Epix Gen 2 to the DJI Mini 4K and Insta360 X4. Below is the full list, organised by category, with the deal details that actually matter before you click buy.
Apple Watch Deals
All three current Apple Watch models are discounted at once, and all of them are in line to receive the latest watchOS release, so there is no penalty for buying now rather than waiting. The Apple Watch SE drops $70 to $169, by far the lowest price recorded for it. The Series 9 lands at $279, undercutting the previous low of $289, and the Ultra 2 is $100 off at $699, its lowest price since launch.

If you run with your watch and prefer not to carry your phone, the AirPods Pro with USB-C are also on sale at $188, roughly $60 off. They are a natural pairing for any of the three watches above.
Apple Watch SE, $169 with $70 off, the most affordable entry and notably its lowest price to date.
Apple Watch Series 9, $279, slightly below its previous record low, with the same upcoming software as the rest of the lineup.
Apple Watch Ultra 2, $699 with $100 off, the lowest recorded price since launch.
AirPods Pro (USB-C), $188, around $60 off the latest generation.
Fitbit and Kids Wearables
The freshly launched Fitbit Ace LTE, a kids-focused watch released in early June, is 22% off at $179. Early impressions are mixed, so it is best treated as a deal for families already sold on the concept. The Fitbit Charge 6 holds its usual sale price of $99 and remains one of the best activity tracker deals available: it has built-in GPS and heart rate, though the two cannot always run simultaneously, so pairing it with your phone’s GPS works best.
If you are choosing between the older Fitbit models, the Sense 2 at $179 ($70 off) is the clear pick over the Versa 4 at $159. The extra $20 buys you the features the Versa 4 leaves out.

Fitbit Ace LTE, $179 with 22% off the recently launched kids watch.
Fitbit Charge 6, $99, its usual sale price and still a standout tracker deal.
Fitbit Sense 2, $179 with $70 off, the preferred choice among the older Fitbits.
Fitbit Versa 4, $159, its typical sale price.
Garmin Multisport Watches
This is where the sale gets serious. The Garmin Epix Gen 2 is a massive $400 off at $499, and the dirty secret is that the Epix keeps receiving every software feature the pricier Epix Pro gets, including the most recent public beta additions. If you want the Sapphire Titanium edition with multiband GPS, it is only $50 more at $549, though real-world accuracy differences between multiband and standard GPS on Garmin wearables are close to negligible, so the base deal is safe.
The Fenix 7 Solar Sapphire matches that $549 price. Software-wise the Epix and Fenix lines are identical; the only differences are the display and battery life. The Epix has the brighter AMOLED screen, while the Fenix’s power-sipping display stretches battery further.
For budget buyers, the Forerunner 255 Music Edition is 45% off at $219, actually cheaper than the non-Music edition. The Music version adds storage, Wi-Fi and music support, so it is the one to get. Higher up, the Forerunner 955 is $170 off at $329, its lowest price ever, and it remains one of the most popular watches in endurance sports: full mapping, navigation and routing, strong battery life, multiband GPS and ongoing feature updates.
Other Wearables: Oura, Polar, Samsung and Whoop
The Oura Ring Gen 3 Horizon is $75 off. Polar’s chest straps are also discounted: the H9 is down to $50 and the H10 is 25% off at $75, both frequent reference units for heart rate accuracy testing. The Polar Verity Sense armband, another accuracy benchmark, has a small sale as well.
The Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 is 47% off at $159 as the newer Galaxy Watch 7 pushes it to clearance. One caveat: if you own an older Galaxy Watch, Samsung’s trade-in program can beat the $159 sale price outright. Finally, the Whoop 4.0 with its one-year subscription is roughly $20 off at $199.

Cycling GPS and Smart Bikes
The Garmin Edge 1040 is $150 off at $449. Even though the Edge 1050 just launched, Garmin is keeping the 1040 in the lineup and it has already picked up nearly all of the 1050’s software features via public beta, minus only hardware-dependent extras. Note that only the base Edge 1040, not the Solar edition, is discounted, and unless you live somewhere extremely sunny the difference is minimal.
On the Wahoo side, the Elemnt Bolt V2 is $45 off and the larger Elemnt Roam V2 is 15% off at $339. For indoor riders, the Peloton Bike Plus is $400 off at $1,199.95; the cheaper base bike briefly hit $1,000 but that required pre-registration and has since closed.
Action Cameras and Drones
The DJI Action 4 is $100 off at $299, and the DJI Air 3 combo package is $300 off at $1,239. The Air 3 is the pick if you want its dual-camera system rather than the single camera on the Mini series, and the combo includes the batteries. If you just want something small and cheap, the new DJI Mini 4K at $229 is an incredible deal; it lacks obstacle avoidance but it is tiny and easy to carry.
The Hover X1, a long-time favourite, sits at $359. It fits in running shorts pockets, automatically follows you and has survived roughly 200 crashes without issue, making it ideal for running, walking and hiking. The GoPro Hero 12 Black is at $299, its lowest recorded price.
Insta360’s X4 and the tiny Go 3S are also on sale, and their standout feature is integration with Garmin and Apple Watch data: save a workout on any Garmin device and the app automatically overlays your speed, elevation and distance straight onto the video in one tap. It is the kind of just-works integration competitors should copy.
Home Fitness and Treadmills
The Peloton Tread is $300 off at $2,695 and serves as a solid at-home treadmill, particularly for evening winter runs. It sits well below the price of higher-end units while doing the core job well. The Polar H9 chest strap, mentioned earlier in the wearables section, rounds out the list as a budget-friendly heart rate option.

Conclusion
The recurring theme across this sale is that current-generation gear is at or near record-low pricing, and most of these devices continue to receive software updates, which lowers the risk of buying now. If you are choosing selectively, the Garmin Epix Gen 2 at $499 and the Forerunner 955 at $329 stand out as the headline deals, the Fitbit Charge 6 at $99 remains the best budget tracker, and the DJI Mini 4K at $229 is the value pick in the camera category. As always with these sales, additional deals tend to appear over the following days, so it pays to keep checking before checkout.
