Telos Legend Snowboard Review: A Playful Park-Friendly All-Mountain Deck

A dual camber board with micro rocker zones that stays catch-free in the park, with some speed limits to weigh before buying.

Introduction

The Telos Legend is built around a dual camber profile with a micro rocker center, a design aimed at riders who want a playful, catch-free feel without giving up stability underfoot. After riding it through a full resort day across icy shade, slushy sun, and warm afternoon snow, the board shows a clear personality: fun, forgiving, and happiest in the park.

On-Snow Impressions

The camber profile is a dual camber with a micro rocker center: a tiny bit of rocker on the tips and tails, camber right under your feet, and micro rocker between the feet. That blend keeps the board catch-free when turning and adds a bit of playfulness between your feet. It comes in 146, 150, 154, and 158 sizes.

Flex is middle of the road in the tip and tail, though the rocker makes it feel a touch softer. Torsionally it sits mid-range too, so you can foot steer it fairly easily. It is a very stable ride, and the urethane sidewall smooths out vibration so you don’t feel every little bit of uneven terrain. It pushes through push piles well without getting knocked around.

Pop, Butters and Rails

The Legend pops and ollies well, but you feel that rocker on the tip, tail, and between the feet, so you’ll want to load it up a little more than an average board before takeoff. Off jumps, it holds an edge nicely and feels stable on takeoff and landing, so feel free to pop harder to help propel things through the air.

It’s also a genuinely buttery board. The rocker on the nose and tail creates a nice pressing surface that locks in easily, and the same goes for rails: it wants to lock in right under your feet where the camber sits, and it holds there well on slides.

Carving and High-Speed Stability

At shorter turns the board is fairly nimble and quick to respond. Medium-sized turns feel smooth and comfortable at moderate speeds.

The limits show at higher speeds. On medium turns it gets a little unstable when you push into fast territory, and large turns are comfortable at medium speeds but the board has trouble holding an edge at the high end. Aggressive speed-focused carvers should keep that in mind.

Who the Telos Legend Is For

The rider in mind for this board is someone who spends most of their time in the park, riding rails and sliding ledges, and ventures all-mountain when the snow is good. It’s a great fit for a Midwest-style rider who hits tows and rope tows a lot, and it’s a solid travel board to bring out to Colorado or California, though it excels most in the park.

Buying Advice

Boards that ride similarly include the Marhar Darkside, Capita DOA, and GNU Head Space. For bindings, pair the Legend with a Burton (Balian) Blaster, Union Ultra, or Salomon Hologram for a balanced park-leaning setup.

Conclusion

The Telos Legend is a fun, stable, forgiving board that excels in the park thanks to its catch-free dual camber and micro rocker profile. Its main trade-off is composure at high speeds on medium and large turns. If park laps and jibbing are your priority, it’s an easy board to recommend.
