Summer Prime Day Kitchen Deals 2026: What to Buy (and What to Skip)
Tested winners on sale across food processors, air fryers, blenders, waffle makers, and pizza ovens, plus the deals that are not worth your money.
Introduction
The Summer Prime Day sale runs June 23rd to 26th, and this year the discounts reach deep into kitchen gear. We went through the full sale list and pulled out the products that earned top marks in our testing, along with a handful of heavily discounted machines that did not perform well and are better skipped entirely.
Deals move fast during this sale, so if something on your list is discounted, act before it sells out. Here are the winners worth buying and the traps worth avoiding.
The Deal to Grab First: Cuisinart 14-Cup Food Processor
A good food processor is like having a sous chef in the kitchen. Ours handles every task we would rather not do by hand, from mincing heaps of garlic to shredding cheese, and it is an incredible shortcut for doughs. Our thin-crust pizza recipe makes two dough balls almost fully hands-off, and it removes all the tedious butter-cutting from pie dough.
This is our long-time winner, and with the discount it is the first thing worth putting in your cart. We know because ours just gave out after 25 years of service.

Air Fryer Deals Worth Acting On
Both of our tested favorites are on sale this time. The Instant Pot Vortex Plus is our overall winner: it is the bigger, more luxurious, more expensive option with more perks, and it is currently 38% off. The Cosori 9-in-1 Turbo Blaze is our best buy, a more bare-bones machine that works well for smaller households at 25% off.

If you want a toaster oven and an air fryer in one unit, the Breville Smart Oven Air Fryer Pro is our winning air fryer toaster oven and it is 20% off. It is the best option for that combined role, and it is fantastic.
About those new glass air fryers that are everywhere right now: we understand wanting to cut down on plastic use, but this is not the place to do it. The glass models we tested were heavy, uncomfortable to use, and they hold less food.
Knife Care on Sale: Chef’sChoice 15
If an artist is only as good as their tools, a chef is only as good as their knife. Our winning electric knife sharpener, the Chef’sChoice 15, is 18% off in this sale. It can repair a badly chipped or damaged blade, and it also handles regular maintenance to keep your knives in good shape.
Sharp knives are safer knives. They improve your knife skills, and they make your food more delicious because every ingredient is cut to the right size.
Small Aperture, Big Help: Braun MultiQuick 5
Immersion blenders are one of those tools that quietly make life easier. No lugging out a big appliance when you do not need one, and they shine for soups, smoothies, salad dressings, pesto, and more. Our long-time winner is the Braun MultiQuick 5, now almost 38% off. It is light, comfortable, and powerful, and a great option at this price.
The Skip List: Deals That Are Not Worth It
A discount does not make a bad product a good buy. Here is what we would leave in the cart, and what to get instead.
Ice Cream Makers: Skip the Ninja Creami
Even at nearly 23% off, the Ninja Creami is no bargain. It is big, expensive, and we did not love it in testing. It works by slicing already frozen dessert ingredients into a creamy mixture, but that mixture melts very fast. In a head-to-head taste test against our winning Cuisinart ice cream maker, which costs about a third of the price at around $70, the cheaper machine’s ice cream was clearly better.
Blenders: The Hamilton Beach Power Elite Still Is Not a Bargain
The Hamilton Beach Power Elite is up to 38% off, but it remains a bad buy. In testing it struggled at nearly every task, and a barely acceptable smoothie took six minutes of hard work. Everything else we tried in it was a mess. The best less expensive blender we can recommend is the Ninja Professional Plus, which kept pace with blenders twice as expensive.
Microwaves: Panasonic Countertop Misses the Mark
The Panasonic countertop microwave is $100 off, but that still does not make it worth getting. It was finicky to use in testing, and at 1,200 W it was too powerful at times. The inverter technology showed no measurable benefit, and the finish readily showed fingerprints. Our winner, the Breville Compact Wave Soft Close Microwave, sits in the same price range and was miles ahead in both performance and ease of use.
Waffle Maker Warning: Bella Rotating Belgian Waffle Maker
The Bella Rotating Belgian Waffle Maker is on sale, but we tested it and the results were severely underwhelming. No matter what we did, the waffles came out sad, pale, and undercooked.

For a great waffle maker at a reasonable price, get our best buy instead: the Presto Flip-Side Belgian Waffle Maker makes tall, well-browned waffles and is incredibly simple to use.
Pizza Ovens: Chefman Falls Short of Its Promises
The Chefman Indoor Pizza Oven promises to cook 12-inch pizzas in minutes and reach up to 800 degrees. In testing, it could not break 700. It is not terrible, and it costs far less than many indoor pizza ovens, so we still recommend it. Just know that it is not that different from your regular oven.
If you want to invest in an indoor pizza oven that can actually reach professional-level heights, we highly recommend the Ooni Volt 12 instead.
Conclusion
The Summer Prime Day sale is genuinely strong on tested winners this year: the Cuisinart 14-cup food processor, Instant Pot Vortex Plus, Breville Smart Oven Air Fryer Pro, Chef’sChoice 15, and Braun MultiQuick 5 all earned their discounts. On the flip side, steep markdowns on the Ninja Creami, Hamilton Beach Power Elite, Panasonic microwave, Bella waffle maker, and Chefman pizza oven do not change what testing showed. Buy the machines that earned their reputation, skip the rest, and move quickly because this sale does not wait.
