Olight Arkfeld Pro Review: A 3-in-1 EDC Flashlight That Replaces Two Lights
The Arkfeld Pro combines a 1,300-lumen white light, a 900mW UV light, and a green laser in one flat aluminum body. Here is how it performs in everyday use.
Introduction
The Olight Arkfeld Pro is a 3-in-1 flashlight that packs a 1,300-lumen white light, a 900mW ultraviolet light, and a 5mW Class 3R green laser into a single flat aluminum body. It is essentially the original Arkfeld and the Arkfeld UV merged into one larger light, with a bigger battery and brighter output on every front.
In short: 1,300 lumens of white light, 900mW of UV output that is 55% higher than the original Arkfeld UV, a 30% lumen increase over the previous models, and a green laser that is noticeably larger and brighter. The trade-off is size, since all of this lives in a body that is longer, wider, and thicker than either predecessor. After carrying it and testing it across all three light modes, it is an easy recommendation for most people.
Who This Product Is For
The flat Arkfeld design has always been a favorite for everyday carry because it sits far more comfortably in a pocket than a traditional round flashlight. The Pro keeps that flat form factor, adds the two-way pocket clip borrowed from the Arkfeld UV, and retains the slimmer base at the tail.
This light makes sense for three broad groups. First, EDC users who want one light instead of two, since the Pro genuinely replaces both the white light and the UV models. Second, anyone who presents or works outdoors: the green laser is strong enough to hit a distant barn with ease, and it is genuinely useful for pointing things out on a film set, a job site, or across a field. Third, people with practical UV needs, such as spotting pet stains at home, checking a hotel bed, verifying bills, or even blood-tracking applications for hunting.

Main Strengths
The three-in-one combination is the headline feature, and it works well. The rotating dial switches between ultraviolet, green laser, and white light on the fly, even while the light is on. The white light and green laser sit dead center in the head on the Pro, a cleaner layout than the original Arkfeld, where the laser sat off to the side.
The green laser deserves special mention. In side-by-side comparison, the dot on the Pro is larger and much brighter than on the original Arkfeld, and at distance it reaches remarkably far. There is also a new feature that the original could not do: with the laser on, a double press of the side button activates white light and green laser at the same time, and you can still cycle brightness modes while both are running.

The UV light is 55% brighter than the Arkfeld UV, and the difference is visible in real use. It makes fluorescent marks on white objects pop clearly, which is exactly what you want for stain detection or tracking work.
Build quality is typical of the brand: a single piece of aluminum with anti-slip texture on both sides, an IPX7 waterproof rating (submersible in up to 3 feet of water for 30 minutes), and 1 meter of impact resistance. The built-in 1,500mAh rechargeable lithium-ion battery is 42.9% larger than in the previous Arkfeld models and charges via the included magnetic charging cable. The four-LED battery indicator doubles as a five-stage readout: each LED corresponds to a brightness level on startup, and below 10% the first LED glows red.

Runtime and output break down as follows. Moonlight is 1 lumen for up to 11 days. Low is 15 lumens for 55 hours. Medium is 100 lumens for 9 hours and 45 minutes. High is 420 lumens for 35 minutes before stepping down to 100 lumens for another 12 minutes. Turbo hits the maximum 1,300 lumens for 4 minutes, then steps down to 420 lumens for 125 more minutes, with a maximum throw of 102 meters at 2,680 candela.
Things to Consider Before Buying
The most obvious trade-off is size. The Pro measures 4.72 inches long, 1.06 inches wide, and 0.63 inches thick, and weighs 3.92 ounces (111g). It is noticeably larger and heavier than both previous Arkfeld models, though that is largely the price of the bigger battery and the third light source. Since it replaces two lights, the extra bulk is easy to justify.
The dial design has one quirk worth knowing about. Previous Arkfeld models had two selector tabs on the side of the dial, which made flipping modes by feel easy. The Pro moves a single tab to the bottom of the dial, and after a week of carrying it, muscle memory still reaches for the old side tabs. It is not a dealbreaker, but two side tabs, or three tabs total, would have been better.

On the UI: a single side switch plus the rotating dial control everything. Press and hold from off for Moonlight, click and hold to cycle low, medium, and high, and double click for Turbo. The light has mode memory, but Turbo cannot be recalled after switching off; it returns to high. Triple click activates strobe, and a click-and-hold from off engages lockout, indicated by a red LED.
Two smaller notes. The beam is much flooder than expected, with a soft hotspot and diffuse outer perimeter, which is great for up close work but not for long-range throwing. And the unit tested here is the 5700K to 6700K cool white version, which shows minimal green tint even in lower modes, though a neutral white version is also available if you prefer warmer EDC light.
Buying Advice
Heat is a non-issue at this output level. During a four-minute turbo run, the head reached only 77 degrees Fahrenheit and the body 75 degrees, so no gloves are needed for extended turbo use. The mode spacing from 1 to 15 to 100 to 420 lumens is sensible, though a step between high and turbo would smooth out the jump from 420 to 1,300 lumens.
If you already own both an original Arkfeld and an Arkfeld UV, the Pro effectively renders both obsolete, and the consolidated battery and brighter outputs make the upgrade easy to defend. If you own only one of the two, the Pro is still the smarter single purchase. It is available in black, orange, and a limited edition zombie green, in cool white or neutral white.
Conclusion
The Olight Arkfeld Pro takes everything that worked about the original Arkfeld and the Arkfeld UV and combines them into one well-built light, then improves the output across the board. The green laser is exceptional, the UV is meaningfully brighter, and the flat EDC form factor survives the size increase surprisingly well. For anyone who wants a white light, UV, and laser in a single pocket-friendly package, this is a confident recommendation.
