Olight Arc Pro Review: A Flashlight with a Spotlight, Flood, Laser, and UV All in One

The Olight Arc Pro packs a spotlight, floodlight, green laser, and UV light into a pocketable EDC body. Strong on features, weaker on sealing.

Introduction

Olight has a reputation for cramming unusual feature combinations into small lights, and the Arc Pro is a good example of that approach. This is an EDC flashlight with a spotlight, a floodlight, a green laser, and a UV light built into a single body. The company markets it with the phrase “unexpected elegance,” and there is something to that: the silver finish of this unit is done with an angular treatment on the enclosure that makes light reflect off it in slightly odd ways, which can even make it look faintly off-color on camera. It is genuinely silver, but the design detail is noticeable and gives the light a distinct character.

Who This Product Is For

The Arc Pro is aimed at anyone who wants a genuinely all-in-one everyday carry light rather than a single-purpose tool. If you like the idea of carrying a spotlight, floodlight, laser pointer, and UV light without carrying four separate devices, this covers all of them in one pocketable package.

It is worth being clear about what it is not. Despite its solid build, this is not a heavy-duty camping flashlight by any means. The charging port on the side is just hard plastic with no real seal, so the waterproofing and dust proofing leave something to be desired. Buyers who need serious environmental protection should weigh that carefully.

Four Light Tools in One Body

The core appeal of the Arc Pro is the number of functions packed in. You get a floodlight, a spotlight, and a UV mode, with laser control positioned on the right side of the body. The green laser is described as very cool to use, and the usual laser warnings apply: this is a 3R laser, so eye protection and sensible handling are recommended as with any laser product.

Both the flood and the spotlight support multiple intensity levels. For the flood, you hold the control down to step through the different levels, and the spotlight works the same way with its own range of intensities. The UV light rounds out the set, and being able to switch between all of these modes from one compact unit is what makes the design feel genuinely useful rather than gimmicky.

Design, Grip, and Everyday Carry

The Arc Pro has some heft to it. At 4.1 ounces, it is not an ultra-light flashlight, but the flat style of the body means it slides into a pocket quite nicely. It is not too long and not too thick, and there is a small ring near the lens that helps protect it when the light rides in a pocket. The overall hand feel gets high marks: the side serrations are great for holding on to the light and give it a solid grip, though they are the kind of detail that could pick up dirt quickly.

A good-sized belt clip is included for anyone who prefers to carry it on a belt or waistband. Overall, there is no wasted space in this light, and the impression is of a device that is pretty solid for what it is.

Charging and the Ultra Version

The primary charging method is USB-C through a port on the side, and that works every time and is easy to use. Olight also offers a magnetic charging option on the back, but the practical feedback here is cautious: it clips on and works sometimes, but not every time, so USB-C remains the more reliable path. The battery indicator on the side shows the charge level whenever you use any function, and the light holds a charge for quite a while.

Olight also offers an Ultra version of the Arc Pro, built with their proprietary OAL material and, as understood, a slightly brighter spotlight. For roughly thirty dollars extra, you get better materials and that upgraded spotlight.

Buying Advice

If you want a good all-in-one flashlight and do not necessarily need ultra survivability, the Arc Pro makes a strong case. The combination of spotlight, flood, laser, and UV in one body is genuinely handy, and the size and grip make it a pleasant daily carry. The main caveat is the unsealed side charging port, which limits how rough you should be with it. If you can live with that trade-off and want a bit more from the materials and the spotlight, the Ultra version is worth a look for the small price bump.

Conclusion

The Olight Arc Pro combines a spotlight, floodlight, green laser, and UV light in a compact, well-machined body with a comfortable grip and good pocket manners. The unsealed charging port holds it back from heavy-duty use, but as an everyday carry light with an unusually complete feature set, it earns a recommendation.
