New Milwaukee and Ryobi Tool Announcements: Five Releases Worth a Look

Milwaukee launches intelligent power managers and a subtle bump cap insert, while Ryobi adds an automotive pressure washer and a lighted creeper seat. Here is what stands out.

Introduction

Two brands, five new releases, and a clear pattern: Milwaukee is focused on keeping pros working without interruptions, while Ryobi keeps expanding its affordable outdoor and DIY lineup. Here is a practical breakdown of what was just announced and who each product actually makes sense for.

Milwaukee Power Manager 15 Amp

Milwaukee’s new Power Managers are designed to optimize circuit usage for users with demanding charging needs. Instead of tripping breakers every time several battery chargers pull full wattage on one circuit, the power manager regularly measures the power being used by each outlet and calculates the largest number of outlets that can be energized at once.

It is Packout compatible, mounts on the wall, and runs off a standard AC outlet. Intelligent power switching keeps the maximum number of outlets powered without overloading the circuit, and additional outlets activate automatically as power becomes available. That makes extended overnight bulk charging practical, while daytime users can prioritize high-speed charging instead. The 15 amp model is priced at $499 and weighs 5.4 lbs.

Milwaukee Power Manager 20 Amp

The 20 amp version is the same idea scaled up. It supports more chargers on a single circuit, maximizing charging of M12, M18, and MX FUEL batteries without needing to manually swap packs as they finish. Milwaukee positions it as a way to avoid costly infrastructure upgrades, which is the core value: more batteries charging, fewer panel upgrades, and an uninterrupted workflow.

At $599 it is a serious investment, but for shops charging large battery fleets daily, preventing repeated breaker trips can pay for itself in avoided downtime.

Milwaukee Universal Bump Cap Insert

Not every job site needs a full hard hat, but plenty of them still have nails and low obstacles waiting at head height. This foam insert is designed to sit inside a standard baseball cap, giving service contractors, HVAC techs, and plumbers a low-profile layer of protection for confined spaces and work under vehicles.

Milwaukee tested it by driving nails into it, and it held up for exactly the kind of bumps and scrapes a hard hat is overkill for. It is not a replacement for a rated hard hat in environments that require one, so check with your safety supervisor first. The black mesh bump cap is $34.97 and the universal insert is $4.97, with a March 2025 launch.

Ryobi RY14A2 Automotive Pressure Washer

Ryobi’s new 1.8 gallon per minute high-flow automotive pressure washer is a corded electric unit delivering 1,000 PSI, aimed at cars, trucks, boats, and RVs. The high water flow rate combined with specialized automotive accessories is intended to deliver a more effective deep clean than a generic pressure washer.

The stubby trigger handle creates less vibration than a standard trigger and lets you stand closer to the vehicle. The included 40-foot hose is twice the length of a standard hose, so you can reach around a vehicle without moving the unit. Nozzles cover 15 degrees for rough stains, 25 degrees for general cleaning, and 40 degrees for rinsing, and the included foam cannon delivers thick soap to lift grime. It is priced at $149.

Ryobi PCL692B Lighted Creeper Seat

The 18V ONE+ dual-function lighted creeper seat is one of those ideas that seems obvious once you see it. It works as either a creeper or a seat for undercarriage and seated DIY tasks, with multi-position versatility, 3-inch casters for smooth mobility in both configurations, an adjustable headrest, and chemical-resistant cushions.

The onboard flexible LED light puts out up to 800 lumens, which is genuinely useful when you are under a vehicle where ambient light never reaches. Integrated storage at the rear keeps fasteners and tools within reach. Availability details have not been fully detailed yet, but it is one of the more practical Ryobi announcements in this batch.

Buying Advice

If your shop charges multiple large batteries and breaker trips are a daily annoyance, the Milwaukee Power Managers solve a real problem, though the price reflects that. For occasional battery charging at home, they are overkill. The bump cap insert is a cheap, sensible comfort-and-safety upgrade for anyone working around low obstacles. On the Ryobi side, the pressure washer is a strong value for vehicle cleaning, and the creeper seat is a genuine quality-of-life upgrade for garage DIY work.

Conclusion

Milwaukee is targeting professional workflow bottlenecks while Ryobi continues to make garage and yard work easier at accessible prices. Match the product to your actual workload and each of these makes a defensible purchase.
