Flex Stack Pack Wave 2: All the New Storage Products Worth Knowing About
A full walkthrough of the Wave 2 lineup, from a 500 lb wall mounting system to drawers, a cabinet, a crate, and a rolling dolly.
Introduction
Flex is expanding its Stack Pack storage system with a second wave of products, and this one changes the direction of the whole lineup. Wave 2 brings twelve new items, headlined by a wall mounting system, then backed up with a hand tool pouch, a 16-inch soft tote, a full-width crate, a deep organizer, a front-access cabinet, three- and two-drawer units, and a purpose-built dolly. Here is what each one offers and who it makes sense for.
Wall Mounting System: Taking Stack Pack Off the Floor
The biggest shift in Wave 2 is the wall mounting system. For the first time, Stack Pack can go vertical. In a shop, that means boxes can live on the wall instead of eating floor space. In a van, it opens the door to building the boxes into a custom storage layout. There are also brackets that let you mount a second box in front of another one.
The claimed capacities are serious: 500 lb on the wall and 250 lb for a box mounted in front of another. The wall plate itself keeps full Stack Pack compatibility, including half-size boxes, so it behaves just like a Stack Pack lid. The clever part is the bracket: it mounts like a shelf but folds down flush against the wall, something competing systems have not offered.

Hand Tool Pouch
The hand tool pouch clips onto the gasketed-lid plate pattern from Wave 1 boxes, with a push-button release. It also has a belt clip for tool belts, regular belts, or a pocket, plus a hang hook that clears standard 2x material.
Storage is a hook-and-loop flap with three outside pouches and five elastic slots inside, with room for bulkier items like documents or a small meter. It is a simple, well-thought-out grab-and-go companion to the system.
Flex Stack Pack 16in Soft Tote
The 16-inch soft tote gets several comfort-focused touches. The handle pivots so it stays out of your way, with over-mold for grip, and there is an adjustable shoulder strap with padding where it rides against your hip.
Pocket count is the headline: 35 total, spread across a large mesh pocket, a tape measure clip, electrical tape loops, hook-and-loop pockets, and a zippered outside pouch for items you want shielded from the elements. The removable center section is the standout idea. You can pull it out and set it next to your work, or remove it entirely for bulk storage of larger power tools.

Stack Pack Crate
This is not just a crate that happens to sit on top of the stack. It is full width, integrates into the system, and offers 28% more capacity than competing crates. Thanks to its latches, other crates can stack on top of it, so it does not have to be the top box.
Flex added screw bosses for Stack Pack accessories, reinforced structural corners, and more material overall, making it a more durable crate than previous designs.
Deep Organizer
The deep organizer builds on the Wave 1 organizer with one key change: depth. That makes room for items like pipe fittings that are too large for the shallower version but too small to justify bulk storage.
The clear lid has a gasket for IP65 ingress protection, and the honeycomb-style dividers add structural rigidity so the compartments resist flexing and warping over time. There are enough dividers to configure it how you like, robust snapping lids, a padlock hole on the front, reinforced corners, and screw bosses for accessories.

Stack Pack Cabinet
The cabinet solves a real problem with top-opening boxes: access from the front instead of through the top, so you can reach it anywhere in the stack. It latches closed so it will not fall open, or you can leave it open for better access.
Flex also claims more volume than competing products, and there is a lock bar position so you can secure it with a padlock. Reinforced corners, folding rubber-over-molded handles, and accessory mounting points round it out.
Drawer Units: 3-Drawer and 2-Drawer
For anyone waiting on a drawer system for Stack Pack, Flex delivered two options. Both have screw bosses for accessories, full- and half-size box compatibility, and comfortable over-molded side handles.
Flex Stack Pack 3-Drawer Unit
All three drawers are the same size, the slides run smoothly, and dividers are included in enough quantity to fully outfit all three drawers, so you are not buying extras later. Lock bar and padlock support secures the drawers, and they close solidly so they will not slide open in transit.
Flex Stack Pack 2-Drawer Unit
The two-drawer version has the same smooth slides and included dividers, plus a deeper bottom drawer with dual drawer slides that is sized to fit a 7-1/4 inch circular saw. Lock bar and padlock support carries over here as well.
Flex Stack Pack Dolly
The new dolly rides on four 360-degree casters, with the front two locking into place. It is compatible with both full and half size boxes and rated for up to 250 lb of gear. There is also a hook so you can attach it to another piece of Stack Pack accessory rail if you want to.
For rolling heavy stacks across hard shop floors, out to the van, and on to the job site, it is a natural addition to the system.

Buying Advice
If you work out of a van or a small shop, the wall mounting system is the piece that redefines the lineup, especially with the fold-flat bracket. Mobile tradespeople who dig through bags all day will get the most from the tote and the tool pouch. The crate and deep organizer are easy wins for anyone already on the system. The cabinet and drawer units are the standout upgrades for keeping tools accessible and locked down inside a stack, and the dolly simply makes moving the whole thing easier.
As for availability, look for Wave 2 products at Lowe’s, Acme Tools, and other Flex authorized retailers.
Conclusion
Wave 2 turns Stack Pack into a more complete storage ecosystem: wall-mounted or rolling, soft goods and hard cases, open shelving and lockable drawers. If you already own Stack Pack boxes, most of these pieces drop straight into your existing stack, which makes the system more useful than it was before.
