It is also a strong option for riders who value stability at speed over the aggressive carving feel of a Surron-style bike. If you want a daily driver that can handle commuting, suburban roads, and light off-road trails, this bike fits that role well.

Performance and Acceleration

The RoadRunner Pro V2 runs on a 72-volt system with a 60 amp hour battery, the same capacity as a Surron Ultra Bee. The battery pack uses Samsung 50S cells in a 20S 12P configuration, delivering 4,320 watt hours. Two 72-volt 50 amp sine wave controllers provide a combined 100 amps. Each brushless hub motor is rated at 2,000 watts nominal and 4,200 watts peak, giving a theoretical combined peak of 8.4 kW. In practice, the system outputs about 3,600 watts per motor, or 7,200 watts of actual nominal power.

This power translates to impressive acceleration. In testing, the bike hit 0 to 10 mph in 1.32 seconds, 0 to 20 mph in 2.85 seconds, 0 to 30 mph in 5.02 seconds, 0 to 40 mph in 8.3 seconds, and 0 to 45 mph in 10.9 seconds. It completed a quarter mile in 25.66 seconds and an eighth mile in 13.58 seconds. The top speed reached 60 mph, and the bike felt stable at that speed, riding like a true motorcycle.

The hub motor setup means the feel is different from a mid-drive Surron. Power delivery is smooth and immediate, and the bike has enough torque to lift the front wheel slightly under hard acceleration, though not enough for a full wheelie.

Range and Battery

The 60 amp hour battery is the standout feature. In a real-world range test with a 220-pound rider, suburban roads, and an average speed of 35 to 40 mph, the bike covered roughly 55 miles before the software began heavily throttling power. The last few miles were limited to walking pace, bringing the total to about 58 miles, but the usable range at normal riding speeds is around 55 miles. This is significantly more than comparable bikes, which typically die around 30 miles.

The battery shows virtually no voltage sag during normal riding. The software begins throttling when the battery meter turns orange, which happens sooner than the meter suggests. Once the meter turns red, the bike is on its last legs. The included 6 amp charger takes about 10 hours to fully charge the battery from empty, which is a long wait if you ride daily.

Display and Controls

The RoadRunner Pro V2 features a 3.5-inch TFT color display that remains clear even in bright sunlight. It shows real-time wattage, voltage, and controller temperature, which is useful for monitoring the system. The console buttons are clicky and tactile, easy to use even with gloves. The bike comes with a full twist throttle that feels like a complete motorcycle.

One caveat: the speedometer reads about 10% slower than actual GPS speed. When the dashboard shows 32 mph, the real speed is around 35 mph. This also means the odometer undercounts mileage by roughly 10%. Riders should be aware that they may be going faster than the display indicates.

Ride Feel and Handling

The bike has a low center of gravity and feels very stable at speed, from 30 mph up to 50 mph and beyond. It does not want to lean aggressively; its natural position is upright. You can still flick and carve it, but there is a stronger force bringing the bike back to center compared to a Surron. If you prioritize stability over carving fluidity, this design works well.

The frame is reinforced with a 3 mm wall thickness unibody design. The bike uses 14 by 3 inch tubeless tires, two-piston hydraulic disc brakes with DOT fluid, and 203 mm rotors that are 2.8 mm thick. The calipers and brake pads are about 20% larger than the previous generation, providing strong stopping power. The memory foam seat is comfortable even after two hours of riding.

Off-Road Capability

On gravel and bumpy terrain, the suspension performs very well. In testing, the bike maintained an average vibration reading of 0.8 with a max of 5.7, indicating excellent dampening. It handled large bumps smoothly and felt comfortable on loose surfaces. There is no traction control, so riders should be mindful of throttle input on slippery ground. The turning radius is surprisingly tight, with a turn angle of roughly 45 degrees, making it maneuverable on trails.

Build Quality and Features

The bike weighs about 135 lbs for the standard version, while the 60 amp hour version tested here comes in at 153.74 lbs. It is heavy, but it does not feel that heavy when riding, more like a 90 lb machine. The bike is IPX5 rated, so light rain and splashes are fine, but pressure washing or submerging is not recommended.

It comes with E-moto foot pegs that are interchangeable with other e-motos, an adjustable kickstand, proper headlights and tail lights, and rear turn signals. There are no front turn signals. The horn is loud at about 83 decibels, and the headlight measured 2,440 lux, one of the brightest seen on an e-bike. The bike is relatively quiet, measuring 69 decibels in its fastest mode and 47 decibels in the slowest single-drive mode.

Buying Advice

The RoadRunner Pro V2 is available from the US warehouse with a 1-year warranty, zero APR financing, and US-based support. It includes an MCO so you can register it if your local laws require. There are two battery versions: a 40 amp hour version and the 60 amp hour version tested here. The 60 amp hour version costs only about $200 to $300 more, and it is strongly recommended to choose it for the maximum range.

The main drawbacks are the weight, the 10-hour charge time, and the slightly inaccurate dashboard. If you need to carry the bike up stairs, the 153 lb weight will be a challenge. The charge time means you will need to plan around a full day of charging. Despite these issues, the combination of range, acceleration, and stability at this price point is impressive.

Conclusion

The EMOVE RoadRunner Pro V2 is a hidden gem in the e-moto space. It delivers Surron Light Bee power and Surron Ultra Bee range in a small, inconspicuous package. It is extremely stable at high speeds, can keep up with regular traffic, and offers a real-world range that far exceeds most competitors.
