Broy Enters Wheeled Luggage: Four New Travel Pieces Worth a Look
A new carry-on range from Broy covers two very different wheeled styles plus fresh packing accessories, all focused on lightweight, practical travel.
Introduction
Broy has built a reputation on backpacks and soft travel gear, and wheeled luggage is a completely new category for the brand. For the launch, they have introduced two very different carry-on styles: a two-wheel soft shell tipper called the Light Carry-On, and a four-wheel hard shell spinner called the Transit Carry-On, available in two sizes. Alongside the bags come new packing accessories, the Packing Caddy and the Light Packing Pouch. I have spent time with pre-launch samples of the whole range to see how they hold up in real use, including a weekend trip to Spain.
Broy Light Carry-On: The Two-Wheel Tipper
The Light Carry-On is a soft shell bag with two wheels and a generous 38 L of capacity, self-standing thanks to a bar along the bottom. It comes in ash, black, and clay, and at just 2.1 kg it weighs about what you would expect from a backpack of this size, despite including serious wheels and a telescopic handle. At a quoted depth of 23 cm it fits nearly every example airline’s cabin allowance, and being soft shell it can squash down to the 20 cm some budget carriers require.

The wheels deserve special mention. They are rollerblade-inspired, made from soft but hardwearing TPU with free-running bearings, and they are big enough and tough enough to handle even the roughest of surfaces. That confidence to take the bag beyond the airport and onto main streets, without worrying the wheels will snap off dropping down a curb, is a key feature of this bag.
Interior Organization That Actually Works
The main zip opens all the way around clamshell style, which makes packing much easier. Inside the front panel there are two zip pockets, an enclosed pocket at the top, and a mesh pocket with reasonable volume, all accessible without fully opening the bag thanks to a vertical zip. A divider with a flat mesh sleeve pocket is a great place to store a tablet or laptop, protected by clothing on either side, and a 16-inch MacBook fits. If you do not take a laptop, you are not penalized with a bulky empty laptop compartment.

The divider opens with a double zip into a single space that held packing cubes comfortably on a long weekend trip, everything fitting with room to spare. Materials are equally considered: Broy Light Dura Nylon recycled fabric that is water resistant, a more abrasion-resistant fabric on the base, YKK zippers that run smoothly, paracord knotted zip pulls, and a Broy label designed to conceal an AirTag or other small tracker. At £269, backed by a 10-year warranty, the overall package feels reasonable for the quality on offer.
Broy Transit Carry-On: The Four-Wheel Spinner
The Transit Carry-On is a hard shell spinner, totally different from anything Broy has made before, offered in 41 L and 46 L versions weighing 3.1 and 3.2 kg. The shell is 80% recycled polycarbonate with a textured finish, and the boxy shape maximizes internal space. Corner angles on edges minimize impact points, and slight recesses on the front and back reduce contact area on flat surfaces, cutting the chance of scuffing.

The telescopic handle is recessed into the case, which avoids cutting holes through the top and increases strength while reducing weight. Cushioned fabric handles on top and side spring flat when not in use. A single heavy-duty, puncture-resistant zip with a TSA combination lock closes the case, and the Hinomoto silent-run wheels are renowned for smoothness, quiet operation, and durability. At a 23 cm depth it will not fit the strictest budget carrier cabins, so check with your airline before deciding. Inside, the organization is simple and practical: a zip sleeve for a laptop or tablet on one side, a lined space held by a partition rather than crushing elasticated straps, and two different-sized removable aluminium packing cubes on the other. Priced from £299 for the 41 L and £329 for the 46 L, with the same 10-year warranty, it is hard to go wrong if you have the cash.
Packing Accessories: Caddy and Pouch
The new packing accessories use the same Dura Nylon material and zip pulls as the main bags. The 10 L and 8 L Packing Caddies lie flat and use a center zip, working well for items like t-shirts and beach shoes. The 2 L and 3 L Light Packing Pouches have a flat base so they can free-stand, with a top zip, making them suited to toiletries and tech. Both are super lightweight and come in three colors at various sizes and prices.

Which One Should You Buy?
If four-wheel luggage excels in the airport environment and backpacks thrive outside, the Light Carry-On sits somewhere in between: better in an airport than a backpack, and better on rough streets than small-wheeled luggage. It suits one-bag travelers who value street-friendly wheels and a light, squashable shell. The Transit Carry-On is for those who prioritize smooth gliding through terminals and simple, practical organization. On real trips, both performed well with nothing to go wrong, and both come with a free Fix-It Kit covering user-replaceable parts like wheels, the TSA lock, and the telescopic handle, so you avoid being left weeks without your bag.
Conclusion
Broy’s first wheeled luggage range is a confident debut. The Light Carry-On offers backpack-like weight with street-capable wheels at £269, the Transit Carry-On delivers polished hard shell practicality from £299, and the packing accessories round out the system nicely. Like all Broy bags, cheaper alternatives exist, but combining practical features, quality materials, attention to detail, and that 10-year warranty makes the overall package easy to recommend.
