Best DeWalt Deals Worth Grabbing: Batteries, Fans, Drills and More

Introduction

DeWalt deals do not come around this deep very often. Right now several popular batteries, tools and accessories are sitting at discounts between 40 and 65 percent off their usual prices, and a few of them undercut what big-box retailers charge by a wide margin. Below is the full rundown, with what each item costs, what it normally goes for, and who each one actually makes sense for.

The Battery Deals Worth Acting On

The 5Ah XR PowerStack battery is the headline deal here, at 65 percent off and landing at $62. For comparison, the same battery has been listed at $179 at Home Depot. That is a massive gap for a battery that fits the full DeWalt 20V Max lineup, and it is the kind of discount worth acting on quickly.

The other strong battery deal is the PowerStack battery with charger bundle at 43 percent off, priced at $89. The same setup runs around $165.89 at Home Depot. DeWalt is also introducing a 5.0Ah PowerStack battery, so if you want something more compact in the meantime, this bundle is a solid grab.

The Fan: DeWalt DCE512B

The DCE512B portable fan is 58 percent off at $66, sold as a tool-only unit without a battery. Even with a 41 percent discount on the Home Depot site you would still pay around $99 there, so this is a genuinely strong price for a fan that is handy on hot job sites or in stuffy garages.

The Impact Wrench: DeWalt DCF894B

The DCF894B is DeWalt’s lower-torque impact wrench, usually listed at $219 and now $130 with 40 percent off. It is the right pick if you mainly need to take off lug nuts and handle similar fastening work without paying for maximum power output.

The Hammer Drill: DeWalt DCD996

The DCD996 hammer drill is one of DeWalt’s most popular drills, and it is currently 40 percent off at $137, down from a $229 list price. Home Depot sells it for around $165, so at $137 it is a very good buy if you can snag it.

The Work Light: DeWalt 20V Max LED Work Light

The handheld 20V Max LED work light is 45 percent off at $65, tool only, down from a usual $118. It is a simple, useful pickup if you work in dim basements, attics or engine bays.

The 205-Piece Mechanics Tool Set

This is one of the biggest value plays in the lineup: a 205-piece mechanics tool set covering both SAE and metric, down 53 percent from $264 to $124. If you want to fill a toolbox in one shot, this is the deal to look at.

The 23-Piece 3/8-Inch Impact Socket Set

The 23-piece 3/8-inch drive impact socket set, covering metric and SAE, drops 51 percent from $82 to $39. It is a handy add-on if you already own an impact driver or wrench and need sockets that can take the abuse.

The 21-Piece Titanium Nitride Coated Drill Bit Set

The 21-piece titanium nitride coated drill bit set is 59 percent off at $27. This is a practical stocking-stuffer-level deal for anyone getting ready for the holidays and shopping for tools as gifts.

The 6-Piece Reciprocating Saw Blades

The six-piece wood and metal reciprocating saw blade set is 54 percent off at $10.73. These may not be the best blades on the market, but for ten dollars they are a cheap supply to use and abuse when you just need to slice through wood and metal without worrying about them.

Buying Advice

If you can only grab one or two items, the 5Ah XR battery at $62 and the 205-piece tool set at $124 offer the deepest discounts relative to what these normally sell for. The DCD996 hammer drill at $137 and the DCF894B impact wrench at $130 round out the core tool purchases, while the drill bits and saw blades make easy low-cost add-ons or gifts.

Conclusion

This batch of DeWalt deals covers nearly every base: batteries, a fan, a drill, an impact wrench, a work light, sockets and blades, all between 40 and 65 percent off. The deepest cuts, especially the battery at $62 and the tool set at $124, are the ones most likely to sell out first, so prioritize those if your budget is limited.
